The Aurora Fire Starter is a true survival tool and will work in any environment that will support life! Designed and manufactured in the USA by Solo Scientific, the Aurora Fire starter weighs only 1.6oz. It is knurled for grip and uses a composite flint steel magnesium rod that is easy to use and provides tremendous fire starting power. The o-ring sealed aluminum cover protects the rod from oxidation in both salt and fresh water environments and houses the striking blade. The built in striking blade can be a life saver if separated from your knife or pack.
